Ebenezer Cottage

Location

The village of Frampton-on-Severn is set in a Conservation Area within the glorious Severn Vale on the edge of the Cotswolds. Its village green, reputedly the longest in England, is edged with diverse period and fascinating houses and interspersed with ancient ponds and resident swans. The green hosts many fairs and events throughout the year, and traditional village cricket is played outside The Bell Inn during the summer months. This is easy walking and cycling country, mostly fairly flat! Frampton is arguably one of Gloucestershire's best kept secrets, and our guests frequently tell us that they feel 'off the radar' when staying with us.

Being just 2 miles from the M5 motorway this is a great location for exploring The Cotswolds, The Forest of Dean, Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Berkeley Castle, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bath, Bristol, and the beautiful and dramatic Glamorgan Heritage Coastline etc. - all within less than an hour's drive. May of our guests come to see the spectacular and renowned Severn Bore. www.severn-bore.co.uk
